What is AskLatte?
AskLatte is an AI app that understands your books. Its own parser reads digital and scanned PDFs, EPUBs and more, keeping text, tables, code, math and complex layouts intact, and every part of an answer links to its exact source so you can check it.
Why not use Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity instead?
Other AI apps read your full book as text only: images and charts are skipped, math is lost (no LaTeX), and tables and code lose their layout. AskLatte parses every page, so answers keep the structure and link to their exact source. You can still use AskLatte inside Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity through MCP.

Which files can I upload?
Books as PDF or EPUB, plus Markdown, text, CSV and images (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF). Scanned PDFs need a paid plan.
Is my data private? Is it used for training?
Your data is never sold and never used to train our models. Only the parts needed for an answer go to the AI providers that write it. Hosted on AWS in the US. Delete your account and data anytime in Settings.
Can I use it with Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Connect through MCP and your AI tool can search and read your library. The free plan includes 50 MCP calls a day.
